Process

The project was to re-write a previously written story, and make it more thorough. Week after week, ideas would flow as I worked with my mentor, who effectively paved the way to an even greater thought. The challenge hit when figuring out how to transform the story to life. We used Prezi, a website great for non tech-savvies, to be as digital and interactive as possible. My mentor and me used the Google Maps theme to visualize the story as they read it.

Revolutionary Moment

Spending time outside of sessions is a great way to build a relationship, a connection, and a bond. That is what Mel and I did. Whether it was going to a Broadway show, or a Brooklyn Museum, we established a relationship that brought us closer. We were able to be comfortable with each other, and that enabled us to create writings that showcased our authentic self.
