Process
I came up with this idea while struggling. I kept starting my piece over and over again until finally I decided to keep it simple. I sat down and recorded myself talking about my love for art and how it all began, then paired it with a sketch. The sketch is a combination of a younger and current version of myself in an effort to express growth and evolution.

Revolutionary Moment
My revolutionary moment was while creating my potential college list. The college search also included a search for a major. At first I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but then it came to me. Illustration. It's the perfect way to combine my love for drawing and painting with my love for storytelling.
